In Concert Europe is dedicated to making it possible for groups of North American musicians of all disciplines, styles and ages to travel to Europe to make music and to revel in the cultural and historical fascination, wonderment and excitement in which Europe abounds. In Concert Europe is unique. There is no other organisation offering what we do.

We are a special division of Destination Events and Youth Music of the World, the organisations that jointly and exclusively organise some of the world’s greatest musical events. The London Parade Festival is the flagship. With a tradition of more than 20 years of excellence during which time more than seventy five thousand musicians young and old from North America alone have performed in a total of some one hundred and fifty concerts, and, of course, in the world’s greatest marching band parade.

The Paris Parade Festival, now approaching its fifteenth year, has welcomed nearly twenty thousand American Musicians to its fabulous concerts and outdoor spectaculars, both in the French Capital and in the beautiful Chateau town of Chantilly.

Scotland’s Spring Festival – developed in five short years from the Edinburgh Easter Festival, and now presenting concerts in European City of Culture, Glasgow, is already responsible for twenty five highly successful concerts in tremendously prestigious venues. An experience already enjoyed by more than five thousand American Musicians young and old.

We have also created or co – produced events and concerts in nearly all of Europe’s great cities and in some wonderful venues, from Munich to Madrid, Maastricht to Rome, Barcelona to Moscow, Salzburg to Amsterdam and from Dublin to Prague.

This fine pedigree of production and performance travel has been achieved through the efforts of a brilliant, highly skilled and qualified staff. Our team consists of some of the world’s most respected and experienced travel professionals and a concert production department that is second to none.

We know the needs of travelling groups of musicians and we know how to deliver their requirements. We have, after all, satisfied more than one hundred thousand North Americans, young and old, over the last two decades.

We are not travel led and neither are we performance led – we are a fine and, we like to think, perfect balance of the two. At In Concert Europe we strive to create the perfect itinerary for you, visiting places you want to visit at a pace in which you can properly appreciate and enjoy them. An itinerary which will seamlessly assimilate the ideal concert opportunities for your group in the best, most suitable and most stimulating venues for you.

We own our own fully licensed and bonded airline ticket issuing agency in The United States. Through Performance Travel we take care of the airline travel needs for more than ten thousand American Musicians travelling to Europe every year. We know how to deal with instruments and equipment on the airlines, as well as all of the other vital differences in treatment needed by groups of travelling musicians. In Concert Europe makes this special handling available to you.

We will develop with you the best itinerary for your group. We will be realistic. We will tell you what you can reasonably do in the time you have available. We know how long you will want to spend and stay in each location on your tour. We will advise practically from the basis of knowledge and experience. We do not offer you ‘suggested’ itineraries. You are special and unique. We won’t even try to squeeze you into something that just doesn’t fit. We operate throughout Europe and we will work with you to create your ideal itinerary of whatever duration in whichever European venue or venues you require.

Thanks to our major events we have excellent connections with nearly all of Europe’s leading hotel companies, and a lot of individual properties too. We can advise you, from the point of view of the musician, and based on the size of your group and your itinerary, where it is best for you to stay.

Our team of guides and escorts know what, as a travelling musical group, you need. Again it’s years of invaluable experience that make our team special. It won’t come as a surprise to them that you may well need special facilities for instrument and equipment storage and transport, nor that you will need to practice and rehearse, nor the importance of knowing how to get repaired or replace a damaged or lost instrument, or how to access some sheet music that is imperative for a performance.

We work with just about every kind of venue you can imagine, from concert halls to theatres, university and college stages, churches, cathedrals, town and city halls, jazz clubs, and even high quality outdoor venues. Our rule is to secure the venue that best suits you and where your music will be best presented, and best received. Our production team will prepare for your concerts by presenting you with a detailed questionnaire which will elicit all of the information that we need to ensure that our stage manager can present venues exactly according to your requirements.

We will be honest with you about the venues we can secure for your group. We have seen many others make unrealistic offers of fabulous venues which are simply not realistic for many groups. Such claims are dishonest and result in disappointment. We only offer what we know we can provide. If you are a suitable group we do have the most prestigious of venues available.

You travel to perform to an audience not an empty hall. That’s why the venue selection is so important. It must be somewhere where we know that your music will have appeal and can draw an audience.

Because of our major events we have a full time press and public relations department. This team will be harnessed by In Concert Europe to help to promote your concerts. We will always ensure that your concerts are as well publicised as possible with local listings and posters produced by In Concert Europe. We will also produce press releases about your concerts and ensure that they are sent out ‘on the wire’. Where permissible we shall also produce flyers to advertise your concerts and we shall try to persuade your venues, if applicable, that they should include your concert in a timely mailing. We will also produce a printed programme for each of your concerts, with enough copies for each member of your audience, and one for each member of your group as a souvenir.
